2017 Excellence in Business Award Winners

Congratulations to the 2017 Excellence in Business Award Recipients!

Small businesses make up 99.7 percent of the nation’s total businesses. The majority of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber's membership are also small business owners. Small businesses are the backbone of communities and a driving economic force.

As a champion of small businesses, the Chamber hosts the annual Excellence in Business Awards Gala each year. This year’s Awards Gala was held on February 9, 2017 at the Forsyth Conference Center. Small businesses and entrepreneurs were awarded for their impact on the community.

Don Kemp, Chairman of the Chamber’s Business Advancement Resource (BAR), commented, “Small businesses are such an integral part of the fabric of the county. It’s the business owners that are our next door neighbors that we see every day. We go to school with their children- they’re such an important part of the community.” These businesses influence not only their customer base the community as a whole.
