Chamber Plans Trip to Germany
April 4, 2012 The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce announced today that it will host a nine-day Discovery Excursion to Germany in December of 2012. The 9 day trip to Germany will provide participants with an opportunity to explore Germany’s history, culture, and shopping markets. The trip will also allow participants to learn about Germany’s economic development agencies.
Advanced Disposal Opens $5 Million Recycling Facility in Forsyth County

March 14, 2012 Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. opened Forsyth County's newest recycling facility in Alpharetta. The company's $5 million facility, 5680 Shirlee Industrial Way, provides a much needed service to Forsyth County and the surrounding greater Atlanta area.

March 10, 2012 Representatives of Forsyth’s international business community are invited to attend a meeting about work force development on March 23. Randall Toussaint, vice president of economic development with the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, said the gathering is part of the chamber’s international business roundtable program.
