The Small Business Services Center strives to provide small and emerging businesses with resources necessary to succeed. This is accomplished through educational opportunities via classes, roundtable discussions a
nd
business coaching and mentoring, while providing a network for small businesses to support and learn from one another.
Small Business is the life blood of any great community and Cumming and Forsyth County is no different. With great access to the metro Atlanta market in terms of infrastructure support, consumer demand and availability of growth capital, the Small Business Service Center was created to meet the needs of our community’s small business while facilitating the transfer of ideas and opportunities to our small business owners. Consider the following:
-
Forsyth County continues to be ranked as one of the fastest growing county’s in the nation
-
67 % of Chamber members have 5 or fewer employees
-
70+ % of the State’s growth potential comes from the Small Business Community
The SBSC assists the Cumming and Forsyth County Small Business Owner through the use of segmented business units outlined below. The 2010 SBSC Business Plan is also available.
